Read The Hindu or any national English paper( dont start with the middle page, you will definitely get a nice sleep, instead start with interesting Regional news and procede to National and financial news).
Finally dont guess and answer in your exam. Remember there are negative marks waiting to drag you down the pit.
Increase your speed by working on Question papers to increase the Speed and concentration level.
